Maine-based artist Aurora Winkler creates abstract paintings that encourage and welcome introspection.  

Inspiration comes from spending moments outdoors, by rivers, woods, oceans, mountains.  She replicates these moments outdoors through color, abstracting the views and interpreting the feelings of those adventures.

Her work has been represented in both local and national galleries and has been published in Condé Nast and local Maine magazines.

Aurora Winkler lives and works in Western, Maine. She received a BFA from Sierra Nevada College, (now Sierra Nevada University)  Her work has been shown at the Portland Art Gallery, in Portland Maine, Barba Contemporary Art, in Palm Springs California, The Jackson Art Gallery and Studio in Jackson New Hampshire, Harvest Gold Gallery in Lovell Maine, and online with Oeuvre Fine Art as well as The UGallery.
